Bahan-bahan (Ingredients)

  • ½ ekor ayam – digaul garam kunyit & digoreng separuh masak

  • Bahan Kisar: 1 biji bawang besar, 3 ulas bawang putih & 1 inci halia
    (Blended Ingredients: 1 onion, 3 cloves garlic & 1 inch ginger)
  • Rempah Tumis: 1 kayu manis, 2 bunga lawang & 3 buah pelaga
    (Whole Spices: 1 cinnamon stick, 2 star anise & 3 cardamoms)

Cara-cara (Instructions)

  1. Panaskan minyak dan tumis rempah tumis bersama serai sehingga wangi.
    (Heat oil and sauté whole spices with lemongrass until fragrant.)
  2. Masukkan bahan kisar dan tumis sehingga bawang garing dan pecah minyak.
    (Add blended ingredients and sauté until the onions are golden and oil separates.)
  3. Masukkan cili kisar dan masak sehingga ia betul-betul garing dan bertukar warna gelap.
    (Add chili paste and cook until it is well-fried and turns a darker shade.)
  4. Masukkan sos cili dan sos tomato. Perasakan dengan garam dan gula secukup rasa (masak merah biasanya sedikit manis).
    (Add chili sauce and tomato sauce. Season with salt and sugar to taste (this dish is typically slightly sweet).)
  5. Masukkan ayam yang telah digoreng tadi dan sedikit air jika perlu untuk kuah. Gaul rata.

  6. Akhir sekali, masukkan hiasan bawang besar hiris dan kacang pis (pilihan).
