Sup Ayam Makaroni

(Chicken Macaroni Soup)

Bahan-bahan (Ingredients)

  • 200g makaroni – direbus empuk & toskan
    (200g macaroni – boiled until tender & drained)
  • 300g isi ayam – dipotong dadu
    (300g chicken breast/thigh – cubed)
  • 1 batang karot – dipotong dadu
    (1 carrot – diced)
  • 1 biji ubi kentang – dipotong dadu
    (1 potato – diced)
  • 1 bunjut Sup Bunjut Adabi
    (1 packet of Adabi Soup Spices)
  • 2 ulas bawang putih – dihiris
    (2 cloves garlic – sliced)
  • 3 biji bawang merah – dihiris
    (3 shallots – sliced)
  • 1 inci halia – diketuk
    (1 inch ginger – bruised)
  • 1 liter air
    (1 liter water)
  • Hiasan: Daun sup, daun bawang & bawang goreng
    (Garnish: Celery leaves, scallions & fried shallots)

Cara-cara (Instructions)

  1. Panaskan sedikit minyak. Tumis bawang putih, bawang merah, halia, dan rempah sup bunjut sehingga wangi.
    (Heat a little oil. Sauté garlic, shallots, ginger, and soup spices until fragrant.)
  2. Masukkan isi ayam dan kacau sehingga ayam kecut atau berubah warna.
    (Add chicken and stir until the chicken is firm or changes color.)
  3. Tuangkan air dan masukkan ubi kentang. Biarkan mendidih sehingga kentang empuk.
    (Pour in water and add potatoes. Let it boil until the potatoes are tender.)
  4. Masukkan karot dan perasakan dengan garam serta lada sulah secukup rasa.
    (Add carrots and season with salt and white pepper to taste.)
  5. Apabila semua bahan sudah masak, masukkan makaroni yang telah direbus tadi. Gaul seketika.
    (Once everything is cooked, add the pre-boiled macaroni. Mix briefly.)
  6. Tutup api dan taburkan daun sup, daun bawang, serta bawang goreng sebelum dihidang.
    (Turn off the heat and sprinkle celery leaves, scallions, and fried shallots before serving.)

  • Rebus Asing: Pastikan makaroni direbus secara berasingan supaya kuah sup tidak menjadi terlalu pekat atau berkanji.
    (Boil Separately: Ensure macaroni is boiled separately so the soup doesn’t become too thick or starchy.)
  • Menu Sahur: Ini adalah hidangan yang sangat lengkap (karbohidrat, protein, dan sayur) serta mudah dihadam di waktu awal pagi.
