Mee Hoon Sup Mudah

(Simple Rice Vermicelli Soup)

Bahan-bahan (Ingredients)

  • ½ bungkus mee hoon – direndam sehingga lembut & toskan
    (½ packet rice vermicelli – soaked until soft & drained)
  • 300g isi ayam – dipotong kecil
    (300g chicken – cut into small pieces)
  • 1 bunjut Sup Bunjut Adabi
    (1 packet Adabi Soup Spices)
  • 1 liter air
    (1 liter water)
  • Bahan Tumis: 3 ulas bawang putih & 3 biji bawang merah (dihiris), 1 inci halia (diketuk)
    (Sauté Ingredients: 3 cloves garlic & 3 shallots (sliced), 1 inch ginger (bruised))
  • Sayuran: Sawi & karot
    (Vegetables: Mustard greens & carrot)
  • Garam & lada sulah secukup rasa
    (Salt & white pepper to taste)
  • Hiasan: Daun sup, bawang goreng & sambal kicap
    (Garnish: Celery leaves, fried shallots & spicy soy sauce dip)

Cara-cara (Instructions)

  1. Panaskan sedikit minyak dan tumis bahan tumis bersama sup bunjut sehingga naik bau.
    (Heat a little oil and sauté the sauté ingredients with soup spices until fragrant.)
  2. Masukkan isi ayam dan kacau sehingga ayam sedikit mengecut.
    (Add chicken and stir until the meat firms up.)
  3. Tuangkan air dan biarkan sehingga mendidih.
    (Pour in water and bring to a boil.)
  4. Masukkan karot dan batang sawi. Perasakan dengan garam dan lada sulah.
    (Add carrot and mustard green stems. Season with salt and white pepper.)
  5. Masukkan daun sawi. Celur mee hoon sebentar di dalam sup atau asingkan (ikut citarasa).
    (Add mustard green leaves. Blanch the vermicelli in the soup or serve separately (to preference).)
  6. Tutup api dan hidangkan panas-panas dengan bahan hiasan.
    (Turn off the heat and serve hot with garnishes.)

  • Menu Sahur: Ini adalah hidangan yang sangat mesra perut dan cepat disediakan untuk sahur kerana teksturnya yang berair dan mudah dihadam.

  • Sambal Kicap: Wajib dihidangkan bersama sambal kicap (cili padi + kicap manis + limau) untuk membangkitkan lagi rasa sup tersebut.
