(King Banana Pudding with Sago)

Bahan-bahan (Ingredients)
- 5-6 biji pisang raja – dipotong serong
(5-6 king bananas – sliced diagonally) - 3 cawan santan (campuran santan pekat & air)
(3 cups coconut milk (mix of thick coconut milk & water)) - ½ cawan sagu biji – dicuci & ditoskan
(½ cup sago pearls – washed & drained) - ½ cawan gula melaka – diracik halus
(½ cup palm sugar – finely shaved) - 2 sudu besar gula pasir – ikut manis
(2 tbsp granulated sugar – to taste) - 2 helai daun pandan – disimpul
(2 pandan leaves – knotted) - Sedikit garam – untuk rasa lemak
(A pinch of salt – for richness)
Cara-cara (Instructions)
- Masukkan santan, air, gula melaka, gula pasir, daun pandan, dan garam ke dalam periuk.
(Add coconut milk, water, palm sugar, sugar, pandan leaves, and salt into a pot.) - Masak di atas api sederhana dan sentiasa kacau supaya santan tidak pecah.
(Cook over medium heat and stir constantly to prevent the coconut milk from curdling.) - Apabila kuah mula panas, masukkan sagu biji. Masak sehingga sagu menjadi jernih.
(When the liquid starts to heat up, add the sago pearls. Cook until the sago turns translucent.) - Masukkan pisang raja. Biarkan mereneh seketika sehingga pisang lembut (jangan terlalu lama supaya tidak hancur).
