Hidangan untuk (Servings): 3 – 4 orang (people)
Bahan-bahan (Ingredients):
- Daging (Beef): 300g – 400g daging segar – dihiris nipis melawan urat (300g – 400g fresh beef – thinly sliced against the grain)
- Serbuk Kunyit: 1 sudu besar (1 tablespoon turmeric powder)
- Garam: 1 sudu kecil atau secukup rasa (1 teaspoon salt or to taste)
- Cili Kering: 3 – 5 tangkai – digunting serong (3 – 5 pieces dried chili – snipped diagonally)
- Sayuran (Vegetables):
- 1 biji bawang besar – dipotong bulat (1 large onion – sliced into rings)
- 3 – 4 tangkai kacang panjang – dipotong 2 inci (3 – 4 stalks long beans – chopped)
- 1/2 biji lobak merah – dihiris memanjang (1/2 carrot – julienned)
- Minyak: Untuk menggoreng (Oil for frying)
Cara-cara (Instructions):
- Perap (Marinate): Gaul daging bersama serbuk kunyit dan garam. Biarkan sekejap (Mix the beef with turmeric powder and salt. Let it rest for a while).
- Empukkan Daging (Tenderize): Masukkan daging ke dalam kuali dengan sedikit air. Masak sehingga air kering dan daging empuk (Place beef in a wok with a little water. Simmer until the water evaporates and the beef is tender).
- Goreng (Fry): Masukkan minyak masak. Masukkan cili kering. Goreng bersama daging sehingga cili garing dan daging nampak keperangan. (Add cooking oil and the dried chilies. Fry together with the beef until the chilies are crispy and the beef is slightly browned).
- Masukkan Sayur (Add Vegetables): Masukkan lobak merah, kacang panjang, dan bawang besar. Gaul rata sehingga bawang layu (Add carrots, long beans, and onions. Toss well until the onions are softened).
- Hidang (Serve): Tutup api dan hidangkan panas-panas bersama nasi putih (Turn off the heat and serve hot with white rice).
Tips:
- Cili Kering Garing: Menambah cili kering bukan sahaja memberi rasa pedas yang unik, malah ia mencantikkan lagi rupa hidangan dengan warna merah yang garing (Adding dried chilies not only gives a unique spiciness but also makes the dish look more attractive with its crispy red color).
