Bahan-Bahan: (Ingredients)

  • 200g Taucu (Tauco Medan atau taucu timbang) 
    (200g Fermented Soybean Paste)
  • 1 liter Santan Sederhana Pekat 
    (1 liter Medium-thick Coconut Milk)
  • 250g Buncis (Dihiris serong nipis) 
    (250g Green Beans (Thinly sliced diagonally))
  • 100g Udang basah atau Tetelan daging 
    (100g Fresh Prawns or Beef trimmings)
  • 2 keping Tahu & Tempe (Dipotong dadu dan digoreng)
     (2 pieces Firm Tofu & Tempeh (Cubed and fried))
  • 1 papan Petai (Diambil isinya)
     (1 stalk Stink Beans (Petai))
  • 50g Rimbang/Terung Pipit 
    (50g Pea Eggplant)
  • 2 batang Serai (Diketik) 
    (2 stalks Lemongrass (Bruised))
  • 1 helai Daun Kunyit (Dicarit dan disimpul) 
    (1 Turmeric Leaf (Torn and knotted))
  • 3 helai Daun Salam
     (3 Indonesian Bay Leaves)
  • 10-15 biji Cili Hijau (Dihiris serong)
    (10-15 Green Chilies (Sliced diagonally))

Cara Penyediaan: (Instructions)

  1. Tumis Rempah: Panaskan minyak. Tumis bahan kisar sehingga harum. Masukkan serai, daun salam, dan daun kunyit.
     (1. Sauté Spices: Heat oil. Sauté the blended paste until fragrant. Add lemongrass, bay leaves, and turmeric leaf.)
  2. Masukkan Taucu & Protein: Masukkan taucu, udang/daging, petai, dan rimbang. Gaul rata. 
    (2. Add Taucu & Protein: Add the fermented soybean paste, prawns/beef, stink beans, and pea eggplants. Stir well.)
  3. Tambah Sayur: Masukkan buncis dan cili hijau hiris. Masak seketika sehingga sayur sedikit layu. 
    (3. Add Vegetables: Add the green beans and sliced green chilies. Cook briefly until the vegetables wilt slightly.)
  4. Tuang Santan: Tuangkan santan. Kacau sentiasa secara perlahan supaya santan tidak pecah sehingga mendidih. 
    (4. Pour Coconut Milk: Pour in the coconut milk. Stir constantly and gently to prevent the milk from curdling until it reaches a boil.)
  5. Masukkan Bahan Goreng: Masukkan tahu dan tempe yang telah digoreng. Perasakan dengan sedikit garam jika perlu. 
    (5. Add Fried Items: Add the pre-fried tofu and tempeh. Season with a bit of salt if necessary.)

  • Pilih Taucu Berkualiti: Gunakan taucu biji (whole bean) untuk tekstur yang lebih menarik dan rasa yang lebih asli.
    (Choose Quality Taucu: Use whole bean fermented soy for better texture and a more authentic taste.)
  • Kawalan Garam: Sentiasa rasa kuah sebelum menambah garam kerana taucu dan kicap sudah mengandungi kandungan garam yang tinggi.
    (Salt Control: Always taste the gravy before adding salt, as taucu and soy sauce already have high salt content.)
